To put it bluntly, our fundraising has been off to a rough start this month, and my team tells me fewer folks are opening and chipping in to emails like this one. Now, this isn’t totally unexpected. With Democrats in the majority in Congress, many folks have tuned out over the last year.
But it’s important that we catch up on our goals — and quickly. Now’s not the time to get complacent because our Senate majority is razor-thin. Technically, it's a 50-50 tie.
If we lose just one seat this November, Mitch McConnell will be back in charge — and national Republicans are breaking fundraising records left and right to make it happen.
