| During this holiday, the Jewish people are instructed to recall that we were once strangers, and to reflect on ways to welcome the stranger in our own lives. This feels especially poignant today as we see conflict, economic hardship, COVID, and climate change disrupt lives around the world, and as we continue to work to make sure this is a country that welcomes those fleeing from oppression.
