Friend,
Tonight marks the first night of Passover. I am so grateful to be able to celebrate seder in person with my family and loved ones this year.

During this holiday, the Jewish people are instructed to recall that we were once strangers, and to reflect on ways to welcome the stranger in our own lives. This feels especially poignant today as we see conflict, economic hardship, COVID, and climate change disrupt lives around the world, and as we continue to work to make sure this is a country that welcomes those fleeing from oppression.
Whether you are celebrating Passover, Easter, or Ramadan this weekend, I hope you have a meaningful and safe holiday.
All my best,
Sara |
