Hey John,
Camille here, Josh’s Campaign Manager. I’m a pretty straightforward gal, and I think it’s important to be upfront with our grassroots team.
So I’ll just say it: the midterm elections are going to be incredibly difficult for Democrats this year. Between an unpredictable redistricting landscape, GOP misinformation and voter suppression, Republicans outraising Democrats, and a history that suggests the party in power traditionally loses over a dozen seats, it’s clear our razor-thin House majority is at risk.
Yep, not great. But I want you to consider… what’s the alternative? We can’t just sit back and allow Congress to be handed over to Marjorie Taylor Greene and Matt Gaetz. Imagine the crazy things they’d do with that kind of power. I’m not just talking about the political witch hunts or the foundation they’d lay for Trump’s comeback. I’m also talking about the real damage they’d do to our families - women’s healthcare, a liveable wage, racial equality. They’d roll back the clock on all of it.
If we lose Josh’s seat, this nightmare is our new reality. We have to fight back, no matter the odds. Can we count on you to send in a contribution to that mission today?

There is no time for Democrats to wallow about an election we haven’t even lost yet. It’s going to take a historic effort, just like it did in Georgia, but that means we need to get to work now to reach voters we need to cast a ballot for Josh for the very first time. We also need to fight back against GOP misinformation by fueling our Latino Organizing Program and immediately push back against the GOP attacks already coming our way.
If you’re with Josh and not willing to give up on this election just because it’s going to be hard, please send in a donation right now - because if we can win here, we can keep the House blue and make even more progress for our families!
Please don’t get tired and don’t sit this one out!
