Arizona’s battery cage ban reflects a growing trend that the food industry can’t ignore. Nine other states have already enacted similar bans, and every year our hard-hitting campaigns compel more major food companies to commit to doing the same.

We need to keep the pressure on to hold these companies to their commitments. In the wake of Arizona’s groundbreaking legislation, companies need to hear that there’s no excuse for continuing to profit from the suffering of caged hens.
