John, hateful attacks on young, progressive women of color running for elected office have been the norm for about as long as we can remember.
Our WFP champions Nida Allam and Summer Lee both have primaries coming up on May 17th. They’re running grassroots campaigns centered around bold action on climate, jobs, and justice — and gaining big momentum in the process. So it’s no wonder opponents are scraping the bottom of the barrel for ways to attack them:
We cannot let them win. Will you contribute $3 or any amount to our Working Families Majority Fund to help us fight back, rise above these smears, and get out the vote for Nida and Summer?

While these kinds of racist and Islamophobic attacks are always painful to see, they’re nothing new, John.
Like the Squad, Nida and Summer would represent a seismic shift in representation for their communities if elected and grow our working families majority in Congress. That terrifies the political establishment — in both the Republican Party and the corporate wing of the Democratic Party alike.
Unfortunately, we know the attacks and smears won’t stop. If we’re going to lift Nida and Summer to primary victories on May 17, we need to come together now and make sure they have the resources to take on corporate-backed opponents with big campaign war chests. Contribute $3 to the Working Families Majority Fund today to help us get out the vote for Nida, Summer, and our entire slate of WFP champions up and down the ticket this year.

We can only win these primaries by working together and fueling the work from small-dollar, grassroots donations from people like you. Thank you for investing in the movement we’re building together.
In solidarity,
Team WFP
