Team — I have officially been sanctioned by the Russian government.

As a part of their global intimidation strategy, Vladimir Putin has imposed “mirror sanctions” on me and 397 of my colleagues in the House in retaliation for our support of Ukraine. This means two things:

1.
Our
decision
to
restrict
our
business
with
Russia
while
they
violently
invade
Ukraine
is
having
its
desired
effect.
2.
Apparently,
they
believe
I
am
no
friend
to
their
cause.

And team, that is fine with me. I am proud to be listed alongside fellow Congressmembers who are rallying in the House to protect Ukraine and safeguard our interests overseas. I refuse to be intimidated by Vladimir Putin, and will continue advocating for the freedom of Ukraine and her people.

As I’ve said: Good, now let’s get Ukraine some more weapons.
