Hi friends,

Just wanted to make sure you saw the email below from my team about big tech. They’re engaged in some pretty outrageous business practices and seeking to use their size to capitalize and monopolize – at our expense.

I’ll keep calling them out on it. But I’d appreciate any backup you can send. If you haven’t done so yet, can you help me stand against big tech by making a contribution to my campaign? [[link removed]]

DONATE NOW [[link removed]]I’m thankful to have supporters like you, so I can focus my time on taking bad actors to task.

– David

Subject: Real monopoly is not a game

Team –

Competition is at the core of the American spirit. If a small business has a great idea, it should be able to compete with the big companies and let consumers decide what the best way forward is. As chairman of the Antitrust Subcommittee, David’s job is to make the American economy fairer and call out egregious, competition-stifling business practices wherever he finds them.

There are a lot of big companies trying to use their size and clout to bully smaller competitors in the same space out of business. That’s true of anything from food processing to computer manufacturing. But one of the worst offenders in trying to stop competition and silence small businesses is big tech.

Will you make a contribution to help David stand firm against big tech companies who seek to monopolize the markets and hurt consumers for their own profit? [[link removed]]

DONATE NOW [[link removed]]Take Amazon, for example. Not only does Jeff Bezos’ megacompany provide an online platform for the sale of products to consumers everywhere, but it also participates in some sales by making their own products. But because Amazon has access to data owned by other sellers who use Amazon’s platform, Amazon has a huge advantage in unfairly analyzing information that doesn’t belong to them in order to make its own products cheaper, faster, and more efficiently than its smaller competitors.

That’s a problem. A big problem – one for which David has repeatedly called out Amazon, even as the tech giant has tried to conceal its internal data-collection practices from Congress.

If you want more transparency in how big tech operates, more fairness in the marketplace, and more choices for consumers, can you make a contribution to help David continue to stand against big tech? [[link removed]]

STAND WITH DAVID [[link removed]]Thanks, team – we’re counting on you to help us send a message to big tech companies that their anti-competitive behavior will not stand.
