John,
The fight to protect Maine from Paul LePage and the GOP isn’t just about November. We have a big test coming up in less than 60 days: a special election for a State Senate seat in Hancock County.
This seat is one of the most competitive districts in the state and every race counts when it comes to stopping a GOP takeover of our politics.
Brian Langley will be nothing but a rubber stamp Republican for Paul LePage. LePage has already endorsed Langley’s campaign and the Maine GOP is already spreading lies about the Democratic candidate: Rep. Nicole Grohoski.
While Langley is sure to back Paul LePage’s far-right agenda, Rep. Grohoski has already been working in Augusta to expand health care access and protect seniors from unexpected medical costs. She’s helped lower the cost of living for Maine families through property tax credits and supported increased funding for our public schools.
We need Nicole in the Senate working on behalf of all Mainers, not a mini Paul LePage.
Thank you,
Maine Dems
