New lines, interesting races in Washington state
8th District remains the key battleground
"The race for Washington state's 8th Congressional District will be one to watch in November as Republicans try to take control of the House."
John,
Earlier this year, the Washington State legislature approved a new congressional map. After redistricting, WA-08 not only remains the most competitive district in the state – but it will also be one of the closest races in the entire country.
An election expert at Inside Elections said, "The 8th will still be a highly competitive seat. According to the composite of statewide and federal races between 2016 and 2020, the district has an average partisanship of R+3.1."
John – Kim is in for her toughest race yet. Republicans have named her seat a top target and The Cook Political Report, Inside Elections, and Sabato's Crystal Ball are all calling her race a "toss-up." We need your help to ensure we have the resources to take on Kim's four Republican opponents and keep this seat blue.
Rush a donation of $10 or more before our mid-month fundraising deadline to help us win this "toss-up" race and defend our Democratic House majority >>

Thanks,

To hold the House majority, we must re-elect Rep. Kim Schrier in WA-08. Will you chip in to protect Kim's seat and the Democratic House majority in 2022?
