At midnight, we’ll hit our first mid-month fundraising deadline of the new FEC quarter.

This deadline comes as Senate Republicans are raising record-breaking amounts of money to flip the Senate and hand power back to Mitch McConnell. They’ve already spent millions of dollars attacking Democrats in battleground states.

These attacks rile up their pro-Trump, pro-Big Lie, anti-democratic base. They’re propping up candidates that spread dangerous misinformation about everything from trans youth to abortion care to American history. Their main goal? Stoke fear and make YOU feel like we can’t win this November.

But it’s time for a reality check.

It was because of this very team that we won in 2020, flipping the Senate and removing Donald Trump from office. We defied the odds, the seemingly endless amounts of dark money attacking us, and voted in record numbers for change and progress.

As the great Paul Wellstone said, “politics isn’t about big money or power games; it’s about improving people’s lives.” That’s exactly what I’m focused on, john.

I’m working to make sure Minnesota farmers get more out of every food dollar they produce. I’m working to close the pay gap between men and women. I’m working to make Minnesota even more of a leader in clean energy and move us toward net-zero greenhouse gas emissions. And I’m just getting started.
