John, tonight is our mid-month deadline, so we need your help to hit our $10,000 fundraising goal before midnight tonight. But first, since I know you’re probably hearing that phrase a lot, we’ll explain exactly what this means.
In order to keep track of our progress, our campaign keeps regular tabs on our fundraising. So a mid-month goal is useful for two reasons.
One: It gives us an accurate idea of the pace of donations for the month.
Two: It gives us enough time to catch up when we’re falling behind.
So at this point in April, in order to hit our $20,000 digital fundraising goal we should be close to $10,000… but right now we’re barely over $6,000.
Obviously this is not where we should be right now, so I’m personally reaching out to ask for your help to close this fundraising gap. Your $3 donation directly impacts our work and grows our critical voter outreach operation.
