Thursday, Russia announced that it had imposed retaliatory sanctions on U.S. members of Congress, including Rep. Nancy Mace (SC-01), in response to similar sanctions brought against more than 300 Russian lawmakers last month.

Axios: RNC withdraws from Commission on Presidential Debates.The Republican Party for nearly a decade has complained that the nonprofit debate commission — which has described itself as nonpartisan — has favored Democrats, according to the New York Times.

FOX News:  New York GOP Reps. Tenney, Zeldin and Malliotakis slam NYC 'lawlessness' after subway shooting. Nicole Malliotakis, Lee Zeldin and Claudia Tenney said Tuesday that they're mortified by the brutal Brooklyn subway shooting, but aren't necessarily surprised at the violence amid rising crime in New York City.

Fox Business: Lawmakers weigh in on whether biofuels can replace Russian oil imports ahead of Biden's E15 gasoline ban lift. Biden travels to Iowa Tuesday as his administration announced a waiver to allow E15 gasoline—gasoline that uses a 15% ethanol blend—to be sold from June 1 to Sept. 15.

Orange County Breeze: Rep. Young Kim applauds US Senate introduction of Uyghur Police Act. This week, Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) introduced Senate companion legislation to the Uyghur Policy Act (H.R. 4785), a bipartisan bill led by Reps. Young Kim (CA-39) and Ami Bera (CA-07) to address human rights issues concerning Uyghurs and other minority groups in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region in China.
