Earlier this week, we released our official fundraising numbers, and while there was a lot of excitement about how much money we raised, I want to focus on what matters most to me:

The people.

• We had more individual donations this quarter than any other in the cycle; 97% of our donations were $100 or less; The most common amount donated was $5, and second most was $10.

• The most common profession of our donors was an educator and second most were medical professionals.

• On average, we received almost 3 donations every hour of every day of the fundraising quarter.

• And, of course, the vast majority of the donations we received in the fundraising quarter came from hard-working Arizonans.

I am VERY proud of these numbers, and I hope you are as well. We are funding this campaign the right way, and it wouldn’t be possible without you.

But the truth is, when most of the donations you receive come in small-amounts, you have to keep up the pace. So today, I am asking:

Can you make a contribution — of any amount you can afford — to my re-election campaign today? I would not ask if it were not so important.
