April can feel like a lull – it’s finally warming up in Illinois, but we’re still anxiously awaiting summer.

It can feel like a lull for campaigns, too, until you remember that our primary election is less than three months away.

And folks, your donation will go a lot further today, a few months out from the primary, than it will a day or two before.

Early investments help us run persuasion ads, send out mailers, and get me face-to-face with as many prospective voters as possible.

We’re heading into the storm, folks. My opponents are poised to start releasing attack ads, and we expect the GOP to start shelling out even more cash to their extremist candidates.
