Hi John,

People in eastern Connecticut work hard every day – and in these tough times, they expect their elected representatives to do the same. That’s why I was proud last year to work hard, reach across the aisle, and come together with my colleagues and President Biden to pass the bipartisan infrastructure package.

John, I’m honored to bring this money back to our region, and I want to continue to advocate for eastern Connecticut in Congress. I’ve included some details about exactly how this bill will affect our district below, but if you’d like to help keep me advocating for CT-02 in Washington, please chip in here.

When I’m looking at legislation like the bipartisan infrastructure package, my first thought is always: “What will this do for the families, workers, and businesses of Connecticut's Second District?” So I wanted to share just some of what the bipartisan infrastructure package will bring to our region:

$3.29 billion will go towards projects to improve our state’s major roads – including the Hartford bottleneck at I-84 and I-91, the I-91 bottleneck at I-691 in Meriden, and I-84 in Danbury.

$1.3 billion is allotted to improving Connecticut’s buses and railroads – including the Metro North commute.

$561 million will be spent repairing the nearly 250 bridges in our state rated as being in "poor" condition – including the Gold Star Bridge between New London and Groton, the Amtrak Old Saybrook Bridge, and the East Haddam Swing Bridge.

$100 million will go toward extending computer broadband coverage around the state, ensuring access for low-income families in Connecticut.

I have a tough re-election ahead of me, but I know with the support of grassroots supporters like you, we can win this thing come November. John, will you donate just $5 or more to my campaign today to make sure we have the resources we need to win?
