Reminder: FREE Spring Clean-up

Take advantage of Oswego's FREE Spring Clean-up Collection starting Monday, April 18. On your regularly scheduled garbage day, Groot will pick up additional household waste, yard waste and bulk items.

Follow these tips: 

  • Put out regular trash and recyclables by 6 a.m. on your collection day.
  • Use additional containers and plastic bags for household waste. 
  • Fill 30-lbs Kraft paper bags with yard waste. No stickers needed!
  • Put out big items such as couches, desks and mattresses. 
  • NO hazardous waste, appliances, TVs, or other electronics during this special collection. Dispose of old lawn chemicals, solvents, and other household hazardous waste at this permanent collection site in Naperville

Road closure at Wolf's Crossing and Douglas

Wolf's Crossing Road at the intersection of Douglas Road west will be closed to all traffic starting Friday, April 15 through Monday, April 18 at the latest.

Due to utility work, vehicles will not be able to access this area starting at 7 a.m. on April 15 and will be shut down to all traffic until work is completed.
