John, the response to our petition to impeach Clarence Thomas has been astounding – but I noticed your name is missing!
By violating his oath and voting to hide documents that would implicate his wife for her role in the conspiracy to overturn the 2020 election, Clarence Thomas has left us with no choice but to hold him accountable and call for his impeachment.
We know that when we harness the power of many to take on the powerful few, we can create real, lasting change and build our feminist future. That’s why it’s so important to have each and every Women’s Marcher sign on in support.
Together,
Rachel Carmona
Executive Director, Women’s March
P.S. I’ve included our original message below, so you can see why this is so important.

This is big news, and we wanted to make sure you didn’t miss it, John:
If you’re not sure why we’re taking this step, let us explain.
What happened?
Justice Thomas’ wife, Ginni Thomas, texted Trump’s Chief of Staff Mark Meadows 29 times between the November 2020 election and January 6th, pleading with him to push lies about the election and fight to overturn the results. And she attended the disastrous January 6th rally!
Why Women’s March is calling for Justice Thomas’ impeachment.
Justice Clarence Thomas violated his oath when he voted to hide documents from the January 6th Committee that would implicate his wife – actively covering up her role in the criminal conspiracy to overturn the results of our election. Anyone who betrays our country and our trust must be held accountable and removed from positions of power.
Justice Thomas had the chance to recuse himself – instead, he sided with his wife’s far-right views. It's time for him to go. We must impeach Clarence Thomas now.
What you can do to help.
From day one, Justice Clarence Thomas has acted less like an impartial jurist and more like his wife – a professional conservative activist. After the release of his wife’s texts supporting the insurrection, we now know why.
Together, we must hold systems and leaders who threaten our feminist future, even on the highest court in the land, accountable.
Together,
Women’s March
