If your Senators & U.S. Representative aren't on THIS LIST, they really can't be trusted that they truly want to greatly reduce illegal migration.
I am regularly asked how a voter can know who to believe when politicians say they want to control the border and fight illegal immigration.
I tell them I know who they CAN'T trust.
That would be anybody who isn't on the list below.
Anybody who isn't actively working to mandate that every employer in America use E-Verify for every new hire is refusing to take away the jobs magnet for illegal migration. They can't be trusted to be serious about protecting Americans from job and wage theft by illegal aliens and the employers who hire them.
The ability to get jobs is the primary motivation for massive border surges. Why do your Members of Congress refuse to shut off that magnet?
Mandating running every new hire through E-Verify would not solve the illegal immigration problem, but it would do more than any other proposal to reduce the flow of illegal border crossers and visa overstays. And no other proposal has any chance of substantially reducing illegal immigration without mandatory E-Verify being in place.
THE LIST OF E-VERIFY SIGNERS
Below is a list of the Members of this Congress who are signed on as sponsors of legislation to mandate E-Verify. Considering there are 535 Members in the Senate and House of Representatives, this is a depressingly short list.
If your Senators and Representative are NOT on this list, they are supporting the status quo that allows unscrupulous employers to entice millions of foreign workers to try to illegally live and work in the United States.
It is time to tell every Member of Congress who is NOT on this list that their words of opposition to illegal immigration cannot be trusted because of their failure to act for E-Verify.
The chief vehicles to move mandatory E-Verify through the appropriate committees are:
H.R. 78 (the Legal Workforce Act) in the U.S. House of Representatives
S. 71 (the Accountability Through Electronic Verification Act) in the U.S. Senate
The following list includes everybody who has signed one of those two bills as of April 14, plus some (marked with an asterisk) who have not signed onto those primary legislative vehicles but onto another bill that would mandate E-Verify.

Look at your state and see what a pathetic representation you have of politicians serious about halting the No. 1 cause of illegal immigration. Compare that with how many more people CLAIM they care. They get by with big talk and no action because their constituents let them get by.

The chances of shaming the leaders of the House and Senate to allow votes on E-Verify this year are slim. But the bigger the list of cosponsors the more pressure the news media will be under to report on the jobs magnet, and the clearer it will be for this year's congressional elections to know which politicians are serious about controlling illegal migration. This is also a great way to get as many people as possible on record for the next Congress.
