BREAKING NEWS: The State House just passed Paid Family and Medical Leave, sending it to Governor Carney's desk. This historic investment in Delaware's working families will ensure that Delaware workers will be able to take time off to care for an ailing loved one, bond with a new child, or address their own serious health conditions.

This sort of progress is only possible thanks to the strong Democratic majorities we hold in the General Assembly. With every seat in the legislature up for re-election this year, we'll have to work overtime to help elect strong Democrats to the State House and Senate.

Today, we saw what can happen when Democrats have reliable majorities, and we’ve got to make sure Delaware remains a state that supports its workers, families, and businesses.
