Here's something that infuriates me, John.

Since Putin launched his invasion, Republicans like Kevin McCarthy and Josh Hawley have been pointing the finger at Joe Biden for "not supplying Ukraine with weapons sooner" as they confront Russian aggression.

Here's what they always failed to mention: The reason Ukraine didn't get weapons earlier is because Donald Trump withheld $391 million in military aid to Ukraine in order to pressure them to investigate his then-political rival Joe Biden.

It’s beyond hypocritical that any GOP Member of Congress would criticize this president for not doing enough for Ukraine when it was Trump who withheld support in the first place. What’s worse is that they were complicit because it meant digging up dirt on Joe Biden.

That McCarthy would use the suffering Ukrainians to make a political point is not shocking. But I won't tolerate the fake moral outrage when they had zero issue using the Ukrainians as pawns for political gain. Just writing this sickens me, John.

Hypocrites like Kevin McCarthy and Josh Hawley have no business leading majorities in Congress, and they should certainly have no say in who should represent us here in CA-49. If you're ready to make sure McCarthy fumbles his second shot at the gavel, send in a donation of $3 today.
