Ground Game Texas

Team,

Last week, the United Nations put out a report that warned the world that if we don’t act swiftly to address the climate crisis, there could be devastating consequences for humankind.

The report concluded what so many people already know: we must transition to clean, renewable energies to prevent severe impacts on people, wildlife, and ecosystems around the globe.

We can’t wait for Washington to act on climate. That’s why Ground Game Texas is working to put climate action directly on the ballot in Texas, the energy capital of the United States. In El Paso we’re collecting signatures and registering voters to support a first-of-its-kind Climate Charter that would create jobs, encourage investment in renewable energy, and reduce the City’s contribution to climate change.

We need your help to make sure it passes—and to recreate our success throughout Texas. Can you chip in right now to help us put climate change on the ballot in Texas? We can’t afford to wait when it comes to the climate crisis.

CHIP IN RIGHT NOW! <<

In El Paso, our field organizer Marlo has collected more than 2,000 signatures for our Climate Charter ballot initiative! He’s reached folks across the city, from the UTEP campus to local farmers markets, who want to see action from their local government on climate.

This initiative won’t just reduce the city’s contribution to climate change, it will help the city become a leader in renewable technology and green jobs of the future. We can pass this Climate Charter and show the world how a grassroots movement can tackle this crisis—but we need your help.

Can you pitch in to help us pass our El Paso Climate Charter and recreate that success across Texas? Help Texas become a leader in green jobs and renewable energy.

Thank you,

Ground Game Texas
