The AZ GOP’s leading candidates vow to continue to suppress votes
|
Team, I just wanted to send a quick note to say thanks to you, we have a victory when it comes to voting rights in Arizona.
Thanks to your support, we were able to push back on the AZ GOP’s lawsuit calling for an end to all early voting and mail-in voting. In addition to getting involved legally, we also mobilized against this brazen attempt at voter suppression. Thanks to you, the AZ Supreme Court just
threw out the GOP lawsuit, giving us a temporary victory.
I say temporary because the AZ GOP’s leading candidates for governor and secretary of state have pledged to continue fighting to achieve what the lawsuit failed to do – end all early voting and mail-in voting, despite their previous uses of it.
Team, we may have won this round, but the threat to voting rights continues until we win these seats in November. Can you give $10 today to help us continue our current efforts to protect voting rights and to help us elect Democrats this November that will protect them permanently?
