In Atlanta, rapes and murders are up 40%. There are more murders per capita in Atlanta than Chicago.
This is outrageous, and it’s happening on Brian Kemp’s watch.
As if that’s not bad enough, our Georgia State Patrol is smaller today than when Kemp took office.
Officers are leaving the force left and right. That's because of Brian Kemp's failed leadership.
North Carolina, which is about the same size as Georgia, has twice as many state troopers.
As David said on the radio today, “I want to make sure that these heroes are supported. If you're going to get crime under control, you have to strengthen your law enforcement ability.”
In addition, there are more illegal immigrants in Georgia than Arizona, and our Governor hasn’t done a thing about it.
In fact, over 70% of counties in Florida have formal agreements with ICE to help identify and deport illegals. In Georgia, less than 3% have that arrangement.
The people of this state deserve better.
As Governor, David will use every available tool, including the National Guard if necessary, to address out of control crime.
He will double the size of the criminal interdiction force within the Georgia State Patrol, deport criminal illegals, and appoint law and order judges who will ensure criminals are held accountable.
Nothing is more important than keeping our communities safe, and our women and men in blue have no stronger ally than David Perdue.
