The Crib To Big Kid Bed Transition Nearly Killed Me
[[link removed]]
I don’t know about you, but the transition from crib to big kid bed hit me like
stepping on a small plastic toy in the middle of the night: it caught me by
surprise and it hurt like hell.

Kate Willsky had a similar experience. Her daughter had always been a great
sleeper — until THE SWITCH. “She began waking up crying several times a night;
bedtime became a struggle that often stretched on for over an hour; she appeared
in our room before sunrise, ready to start the day.” Today she writes the
mistakes she made, and what she wishes she’d known beforehand. Save yourselves!
It’s not too late!

— Kelly Faircloth, Executive Editor

That Moment When It Feels Like You’re Gonna Lose Your Sh*t
[[link removed]]
One Monday night, Kaitlin Soule found herself threatening to throw her kids’
iPad out the window — at the top of her lungs. “The worst part is, I’m a
therapist who specializes in helping people learn to regulate and better cope
with their emotions,” she confesses. It happens to everybody, in other words.
Here’s some help for when it feels like you’re going to absolutely blow your
top.
