Team —
We started this month on a positive note when Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson was officially confirmed as the next Supreme Court Justice and the first Black woman to sit on the highest court in the land.
But as we took one step forward, Oklahoma passed one of the most extreme abortion restrictions in the country this week. This near-total abortion ban directly contradicts Roe v. Wade, threatens prison time for providers, and puts women's physical and mental health at risk.
One thing is clear, team: with reproductive freedom on the ballot this November, we need to defend and expand the Democratic House majority more than ever before.
I am committed to defending pro-choice champions in Congress, but I need your help to do it. Will you pitch in $5, $10, or even $1 so that we can continue to fight for progress and push back against laws that take away a person's right to choose?

We have to stay vigilant in the fight to defend reproductive freedom. I hope I can count on your support today.
It's an honor to serve you,
Derek
