Antisemitism at a glance: Finland

The Israeli embassy in Finland has been vandalized at least 15 times over the last two years. And in November 2019, on the anniversary of Kristallnacht, antisemitic messages appeared in front of the synagogue in Helsinki. Finland is seeing an uptick of antisemitic incidents.

35 years since Operation Moses
It was 35 years ago: With Ethiopia affected by war and famine, Israel undertook a secret operation to rescue Ethiopian Jews. It was known as Operation Moses. In seven weeks, 8,000 Ethiopian Jews were airlifted from Sudan and brought to safety in their new home: Israel.
