RPAZ FRONTLINE -- April 14th Thursday, April 14, 2022 AG Confirms Voter Irregularities in Report Candidates have now filed for the ballot; the election is taking shape. We have been busy these last two weeks; here is what is going on: Arizona Attorney General Brnovich issued an Interim Report on the 2020 Maricopa County election. It states there was fraud in the election and major chain of custody violations for 100,000 to 200,000 early ballots. The report contends the signature verification processes in Maricopa County have become more lenient. The Attorney General’s Election Integrity office explains that Maricopa County has refused or been slow to cooperate with inquiries even to this day. The interim report proves that 2020 was not even close to being a 'perfect' election and that significant reforms are needed to secure our elections. Arizona has already taken a major step toward improving our elections with HB 2492 - a first-in-the-country election integrity bill that blocks non-citizens from voting in our elections. The ink was barely dry on the governor’s signature on the bill when the Democrats sued. The attorney on the case is Marc Elias, Hillary Clinton’s, and the Democratic National Committee’s legal hatchet man. We will win this case because the Constitution is on our side. Arizona passed three other important laws; SB 1165 - legislation protecting girls’ sports by banning biological men from competing; SB 1138 - legislation that prevents gender reassignment surgeries for children; and SB 1164 - prohibiting an abortion past 15 weeks of gestation. None of these bills would have passed without Republican majorities in the state legislature and a Republican governor. We must keep our legislative majorities and statewide offices in November. We held a productive Spring Executive Committee meeting for the state party on April 2nd. See the complete line of RPAZ merchandise at: [link removed] AFPI Map Ranks States' Election Integrity Laws A map produced by the America First Policy Institute’s Center for Election Integrity (CEI) ranks each state’s election laws based on criteria that more than 80 percent of Americans support. The criteria include photo ID requirements, ballots being returned to officials by election day, and ending inadequate ballot harvesting laws. According to the CEI, voters believe attention to these criteria will restore faith, trust, and confidence in U. S. elections. Going Down: Biden's Policies Continue to Fuel His Declining Popularity According to a recently concluded Quinnipiac University poll, Joe Biden’s popularity has continued to decline, with a mere 36 percent of the respondents approving of his job performance. The poll shows that Biden is underwater with key demographics and issues. Just 32 percent of the Hispanic American and Independent voters polled approve of Biden, while only 34 percent approve of his administration’s economic policies and the resulting inflation. A mere 40 percent approve of his leadership with NATO. Researchers believe that Biden and his radical, out-of-touch administration are responsible for his dismal approval ratings. Cancellation of Title 42 Adds to Border Mess Title 42, enacted by the Trump Administration, allows immigration officials to immediately deport illegal immigrants to stop the spread of COVID-19 while helping keep the border secure by curtailing the activities of drug smugglers and human traffickers. And it worked. Now, Joe Biden plans to end Title 42, which would open the U. S. border to an estimated 18,000 illegal immigrants each day, overwhelming border officials. Obama Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson said that 1,000 daily apprehensions “overwhelm the system.” If Title 42 is ended, possibly more than 18 times that number will attempt to cross our border. Sixty thousand people in northern Mexico are waiting to cross into the U. S. if Title 42 is lifted. More than 150,000 illegals have crossed the border every month for 12 consecutive months resulting in the worst border crisis in DHS history. Republican Election Board Workers Needed in Coconino According to Coconino County Republican Committee (CCRC) Chairwoman Vickie Parks, the CCRC urges local Republicans to fill several paid Election Board Worker positions for three upcoming elections. The elections include a special election on Tuesday, May 17th, the statewide primary on August 2nd, and the general election on November 8th. Election Board Workers will receive training about Election Day activities either online or in-person and must attend a Monday Night Pre-Election Day Meeting. Workers must work the full election day. AZ Republicans Have Knocked on More than 100,000 Doors This Cycle This election cycle, 114,670 doors have been knocked on by Arizona Victory workers statewide, with workers in LD 12 knocking on more doors than any other district for the first two weeks in April. The election cycle started on November 1, 2021.
