Newsletter of the Goethe-Institut Washington

Dear Friends,

Next weekend, German artist Mischa Kuball will visit Washington, DC, and deliver an artist talk at the Hirshhorn Museum on his latest work. "public preposition" comprises a series of works, interventions, projects, and performances that examine the meaning of "public" – who and where the public is, under what circumstances the public exists, and how it should be understood.

Our Hannah Arendt programming continues on Wednesday, April 27, with a screening of documentary film Vita Activa: The Spirit of Hannah Arendt. Before and after the film, check out our new installation: Picturing a Life: The Three Escapes of Hannah Arendt, featuring the work of Ken Krimstein.
