| Become a member today and join us at our in-person, outdoor Membership Summit on April 26! |
| | Join us for our second annual Membership Summit! It is the perfect time to become a member and then get to know SFTR, what we do, who we are, and why our works matters. At the Summit, which will be outdoors for Covid-19 safety, we'll provide an overview of what we're working on — what's happening with local transit funding, regional transit integration and fares, service restoration, our community organizing efforts in the Tenderloin and Bayview, and how it all fits together for making the change we need. This is a chance to ask all your question, give our team your suggestions and feedback, and see how else you might get involved. This meeting is for current San Francisco Transit Riders members only. Select 'become a member' at checkout. |
| | | | We're halfway to our Membership Month donation goal! Help us make that 100% today (and get a free SFTR t-shirt)! |
| | As of today, we are more than halfway to our Membership Month donation goal! But we need you to make it all the way there. Donate today and get a free SFTR t-shirt! Members give us the political and financial power to lift up the voices of riders across the city, like you. They also play an influential role in helping pick and run our policies and campaigns. |
| | | Matching Donor Highlight: Keziah Plattner |
|
|
| Keziah is our featured member of the month who stepped this month up to grow our movement — by offering to double your donations! "For me, transit is at the intersection of many important movements: equity, climate change, pedestrian safety, accessibility, just to name a few," says Keziah. "I hope one day San Francisco can be the kind of city where nobody needs an app to guess when the next bus is coming—because there will always be one on its way. I’m excited for the work SFTR is doing with 30x30 and advocating for a frequent, rapid bus network!" We couldn't agree more, thank you Keziah! |

| Zack, our Advocacy Director, has been riding Muni since he was a kid. Here's why being an SFTR member matters to him: |
| This month, SFTR staff and Board Members are sharing what being a member of San Francisco Transit Riders means to them and their communities. Click below to watch a video by our Advocacy Director, Zack Deutsch-Gross, share his thoughts on what equitable and strong public transit means to him! And consider donating in April in honor of Membership Month! |
| | |
|
| And we hope you'll become a member and then share your story about why it matters to you! |
| The best way to reach new members and grow our movement is by asking members like you to share your story with your community! Tell your friends or tweet out to your audience about how important it is for a city like San Francisco to have excellent, easy-to-use public transit. Let them know the only way to make a difference is to organize and advocate for it – we’ve proven that with all we’ve achieved so far. |

| | We are launching our Transit Planning Working Group! Please join us there! |
| The Transit Planning Working Group helps craft and advocate for a rider-led vision of San Francisco’s transportation network. It works to implement our vision of a network of Muni routes and transit priority improvements that center the needs of riders and connects neighborhoods across the city with frequent, reliable, fast service, including our 30x30 vision. The Transit Planning Working Group meets on the fourth Wednesday of every month at 6pm. |

| | Last week, we attended Muni Diaries Live and Sunday Streets! |
| Muni Diaries Live gave us a chance to talk transit, meet members, and come together over a common goal: Making our public transit better, more accessible, more equitable, and more reliable for us all! Thanks to Muni Diaries, we were able to give away six free tickets to our members! |
|
|
| We loved seeing you all at Sunday Streets SF! SFTR headed over to the car-free streets of Tenderloin to talk to riders about their experience riding transit and to tell people about all SFTR has planned for this year! |
