I have some exciting news for you, John!

With primary elections just around the corner, I am thrilled to introduce you to the first 2022 Nevada and North Carolina cohorts of New American Leaders Action Fund endorsees! These people-powered candidates are committed to creating stronger, more inclusive communities and a democracy that represents and works for everyone.

From the first Muslim woman to ever be elected in North Carolina to the first queer AAPI legislator in Nevada, these incredibly diverse candidates are trailblazers with the power to change the political landscape in their states. And while they all proudly lead with their authentic experiences and stories, one thing they all have in common is their deep commitment to our communities. 

We know these candidates have what it takes to run, win, and lead. But here’s the reality: They need our help to win their elections and shake up politics as usual. 

As New Americans, we know the incredible courage and strength it takes to run for office and own our power. Let’s show them we have their backs as they fight for our communities by learning more about each candidate and how you can support them in the final weeks before the primary election!
