I wanted to talk to you about my friend Maggie Hassan. Senator Hassan has been a fierce advocate for protecting Americans' freedom to vote. I founded Let America Vote to protect access to the ballot box because when the vote is suppressed, our democracy is threatened. 

Across the country, Republican legislatures are attempting to undermine our election system. In New Hampshire alone, Republican legislators have proposed a bill that would endanger the secret ballot, violate voters’ privacy rights, and undermine same-day registration. This is unacceptable. And it's why I'm going to do everything in my power to re-elect Maggie Hassan.
