Three-year-old Nusair* is always smiling. He loves to play with friends and ride his bike – but not long ago, he was a very different child. 

Nusair used to be so severely malnourished that he could barely stand. Treatment saved his future – but not every child gets that chance.  

John, millions of children are enduring the worst global hunger crisis in a century. The situation is especially dire in countries like Yemen and Afghanistan, where the threat of famine has been looming for months. 

With the war in Ukraine causing a disastrous rise in the price of food staples, advocating for increased foreign aid funding has never been more critical. Save the Children Action Network (SCAN) is urging Congress to invest in child nutrition – as well as mental health, education and other critical needs for kids worldwide.
