I'm pleased to share with you that Texas Governor Greg Abbott and the National Border Patrol Council have endorsed my campaign for re-election.
When I visited the southern border, I saw firsthand how the crisis there is directly impacting Ohio families who are affected by the wave of lethal drugs that are smuggled across the border and then sent into Ohio communities.
To assist Gov. Abbott with the border crisis, I authorized sending troopers from the Ohio State Highway Patrol, along with members of the Ohio National Guard, to Texas to help protect our border.
I am grateful to Governor Abbott for his support, and I will continue to use every tool at my disposal to protect Ohioans and help stop the smuggling of lethal drugs across the border and into our communities.
