Here's the deal: Before redistricting kicked off, experts predicted that Republicans would dominate the process by manipulating the maps just like they did in 2011. But thanks in part to our work, that's not what happened – and instead, we saw headlines like "There has been a redistricting turnaround" (Washington Post) and "Democrats make surprising inroads in redistricting fight" (AP).

Here are some of the threats we're facing:

Republicans in Florida, Missouri, and New Hampshire are still trying to get the most gerrymandered maps they possibly can (and Florida alone has 28 congressional seats!)

While many lower courts have struck down the GOP's manipulated maps, the Supreme Court has reversed some of those wins.

And with the midterm elections coming up, Republicans are going all-in on reelecting gerrymandering politicians and stacking courts with pro-manipulation judges.
