NEW POLL SHOWS BURT JONES WITH COMMANDING LEAD IN GEORGIA LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR RACE
JACKSON, Ga. – Today, a new poll commissioned by The University of Georgia and reported by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution shows Burt Jones with an overwhelming lead in the race for Lieutenant Governor. The poll shows Burt Jones at 30%, with Butch Miller trailing at 11%. When voters were informed about President Trump's endorsement of Burt, Burt shot up to 59% with Miller falling to 8%–more than enough for Burt to win without a runoff. The poll surveyed 736 likely 2022 Republican primary voters in Georgia and was conducted from March 20th to April 8th.
“This poll shows the overwhelming and commanding lead that Burt Jones has to become Georiga’s next Lieutenant Governor,” said spokesperson Stephen Lawson. “It’s clear Georgia Republicans want a Pro-Trump, America First Lieutenant Governor who will fight for lower taxes, better schools, safer communities, and secure elections–and that’s why Burt is winning. We’re not resting on our laurels, but we are working every day to continue building momentum toward a big win on May 24th.”
