December 3rd is #GivingTuesday, a day dedicated to giving to important causes. This year, the Irish International Immigrant Center welcomes you to celebrate by empowering immigrants from 126 countries with legal advice and representation, English classes, counseling, and other crucial services. Despite the current political climate, we are proud to continue the tradition of welcoming immigrants to the US and working together to create a better future for all. Your support of the Irish International Immigrant Center allows us to provide critical services to families in the Boston area.

Thanks to a generous gift from Mr. Arnold Hiatt and the A.M. Fund, every dollar donated up to $25,000 will be matched towards providing counseling and case management to more immigrant families.
#GivingInspiration
As we gear up for #GivingTuesday, our staff shares what inspires them about their work at the Center
For Siobhan, our Wellness
Services Program Associate, working
at the Center was a full-circle experience. Having grown up in a family of Irish
immigrants, she understands the value in “making the journey less daunting.”
She is inspired by the diversity of
experience and needs of those
she works with. While no two days are the same, each one is spent helping
immigrants find stability and comfort
in their lives.

Thank you, Siobhan!
Laurianne, one of our ESOL Instructors, is
in her second year of teaching at the Center. She believes that language is key to helping immigrants and refugees feel at home in
the U.S. One of her primary goals is to
make learning an enjoyable activity “which can be a source of positivity.” She also ensures that this learning is practical,
working with students on words and
phrases that help them achieve common
yet crucial tasks; she loves seeing the positive impact that language can have
on her students’ lives, whether it enables them to talk to a bank teller or complete medical forms.

Thank you, Laurianne!
Give now to make Siobhan and Laurianne's inspiring
work possible. Then join us in #GivingInspiration to others by spreading the message on social media.

Every gift counts, no matter the amount.
