Good morning! Life is a beautiful choice, and today’s Texas Minute leads with some great news for those who followed the case of “Baby Tinslee” Lewis. And we have some not-so-beautiful news about the notorious Gulf Cartel that basically owns a section of the Texas-Mexico border.

900 Days Ago, She Had 10 Days To Live…
- …And this week, 3-year-old Tinslee Lewis is home with her family. Sydnie Henry reports on the latest chapter in the life of a young girl who medical experts wanted to kill with the full approval of a fake “life” group.
- Her story was the focus of intense debate and legal action. Tinslee was just 9 months old when Cook Children’s Hospital invoked the “10-Day Rule,” with vague “quality of life” arguments for a child with a congenital heart problem. A legal race ensued to save Tinslee’s life.
- On the one hand was Texas Right to Life, which was arguing forcibly to protect Tinslee from medically sanctioned murder. Arguing that the faceless hospital committees should get to decide who lives and dies was the faux-life organization, Texas Alliance for Life.
- In the end, courts agreed with Texas Right to Life and Tinslee’s life was saved. “We have been cherishing and enjoying Tinslee being home, and we appreciate everyone who stepped up to help in any way as well,” said Tinslee mom, Trinity Lewis.
REVEALED: School District ENCOURAGES Kids To BE LGBT Activists
Jacob Asmussen reports on new details have been uncovered in Austin Independent School District’s week-long celebration of hazardous sexual behaviors and gender confusion. New AISD curriculum documents obtained by Texas Freedom Coalition revealed the district also encouraged teachers to set up “activist tables” in their classrooms — to get students to write and call elected officials about LGBT issues — as well as a “Tik Tok or Selfie Station to show support for an LGBTQ+ cause.” - The district also added a presentation of “LGBT History” for kids, celebrating individuals for their deviant sexual behaviors.
- And, don’t forget the lessons encouraging kids to build an LGBT “inclusive library” on each campus. Recommended titles included one book encouraging kids to disregard biology and pretend to be the opposite sex. Another book, “Gender Outlaws: The Next Generation,” promotes surgically mutilating your body to appear like the opposite sex (even calling it a “medical necessity” for those who really want it).
- At this point, even the leaders of Sodom and Gomorrah would say our public schools are going a bit far…
The Abbott/Cruz Endorsement Divide
- A growing trend is beginning to emerge in the GOP runoff races: U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz and Gov. Greg Abbott endorsing opposing candidates. Brandon Waltens reports education issues appear to be a major factor.
- The opposing endorsements represent a shift from the previously unified duo.
Cruz has noted that the issue of school choice would be a critical factor in his decision process for offering endorsements. Abbott, on the other hand, has aligned his endorsements with teacher unions and incumbents opposed to parental rights in public education. - Check out their list of dueling runoff endorsements.
Cartel Governor Gets Deal With Texas
Last week, Gov. Abbott announced new measures the state would take in response to the influx of illegal aliens crossing the state’s southern border. Notably, that included “enhanced safety inspections of vehicles” by DPS officers at ports of entry in an effort to crack down on cartel-facilitated smuggling.
As Brandon Waltens reports, the border slow-down has received criticism from the left and the right this week, after several major border crossings were bogged down by the inspections for hours.
So on Wednesday, Gov. Abbott was in Laredo to sign a border security agreement with the governor of the Mexican state of Nuevo Leon, Samuel Alejandro Garcia Sepulveda. The net effect would be to speed up the traffic jam.
Gov. Garcia, as it happens, is intimately connected with the notorious Gulf Cartel. According to a report from Breitbart shortly after Garcia’s election last year: U.S. law enforcement sources operating in Mexico shared documents with Breitbart Texas that revealed that even before the arrest of El June, Garcia’s father was identified by police as a frontman for the
multiple businesses owned by the drug lord. The documents also reveal that after the arrest, the politician’s father kept accounts, properties, and businesses that in fact belonged to El June and his family.
- So now we are trusting foxes to guard our henhouses?

Your Federal & State Lawmakers
The districts displayed here should reflect those recently redrawn by the Legislature. Though the new lines do not take representational effect until 2023, they will appear on the 2022 ballot. Please note that your incumbent legislator and/or district numbers may have changed.
