The Unz Review Digest - November 22, 2019
Driven by a sudden wave of renewed interest, our most popular featured article was Lance Welton’s piece from the beginning of the month arguing that the increasingly female composition of our elite universities has been a major factor in their intellectual decline, with a masculine emphasis upon objective analysis of facts being replaced by emotionalism and innovative genius by conformity. The resulting discussion has now passed 400 comments, totaling nearly 50,000 words.
Ranking second was a long article by Dr. E. Michael Jones from republished from his Culture Wars magazine, focusing upon the overwhelming dominance of our society by Jews and Jewish interests, and tracing the origins to the early decades of the 20th century when powerful Jewish organized crime interests dominated bootlegging and gambling, and invested large sums in the early ADL, using it to protect themselves from scrutiny and gain influence over the FBI. This thesis was discussed in some 300 comments totaling nearly 40,000 words.
Our third most popular featured article was Fred Reed’s sharp critique of the supposed science of national IQ studies, noting the serious apparent contradictions and suggesting that the accuracy is far less than its committed partisans, with the arguments raging in the nearly 350 comments amounting to over 40,000 words.
Rounding out our most popular featured articles was Guillaume Durocher’s career advice for young men, who face an increasingly difficult employment landscape in our modern society, Paul Kersey’s deconstruction of the latest Terminator film, and he ascribes its disastrous performance at the box to the extreme “wokeness” of its plot, and Prof. Stephen Cohen’s analysis of our disastrous and irrational Ukraine policy.
Finally, special mention should be made of Dr. James Thompson’s long piece on race and genetics from nearly a month ago, no longer a top traffic spot, but whose continuing, often technical debate has now easily surpassed 150,000 words in more than 700 comments, effectively amounting to a lengthy book on the subject.
During World War I, seven of the medical schools attached to the University of London decided to start admitting female students, as did Oxford and Edinburgh University. But by 1928, five of these London colleges had decided to stop admitting women, with the other two heavily restricting female numbers. Oxford voted for a ratio of...

Writing about intelligence is splendid fun if you like watching dogfights among towering vanities. (This assumes that vanities can tower, though I’m not sure how dogs come into it.) On one side you have the politically correct protectors of Appropriate Values. These secretly believe that blacks are less intelligent than whites and live in terror...

Historically and even today, Russia has much in common with Ukraine—the United States, almost nothing.
For centuries and still today, Russia and large parts of Ukraine have had much in common—a long territorial border; a shared history; ethnic, linguistic, and other cultural affinities; intimate personal relations; substantial economic trade; and more. Even after the years of escalating conflict between Kiev and Moscow since 2014, many Russians and Ukrainians still think...

Law enforcement copies Israeli brutality
Jewish groups in the United States are adept at creating mechanisms that benefit themselves and also frequently Israel at the expense of the American taxpayer. The proliferating holocaust museums are a good example, sometimes built by private donations but then paid for and operated by the local government. The national holocaust museum in Washington is,...

I just spent a week in Macau and Hong Kong, the West’s last two possessions in Asia. There, I heard an Indian joke from Filipino writer Charlson Ong, “You Brits think you can just come and take our chicken biryani and chicken tandoori? No, we’re coming with you!” A great irony of colonialism is that...

The impeachment farce is basically a Jewish affair, noted the Israeli daily Haaretz. The soul and engine of the impeachment is Adam Schiff, 'Shifty Schiff' in Trump’s colourful expression. His name brings to mind the Jewish banking house of Schiff, top Jewish aristocracy of money and media. The second man is Greedy Goldman, or Daniel...
