So why are we asking for $14? Across the state, there are 14 counties – and our statewide, grassroots movement wants to reach voters in every single one. Rural, urban, suburban, or coastal – we want to meet you and hear from you.
We’re running a campaign that’s true to Maura’s values of inclusion, empathy, and action. Everyone’s voice matters, so we’re working hard to reach every county and hear from a wide range of people – whether they agree with us or not. The tricky part is, that requires a lot of legwork. Here’s what that looks like:
- Traveling hundreds of miles, to attend community events.
- Knocking on thousands of doors, to speak with voters.
- Making countless phone calls, to reach voters we missed at home.
We’re leaving no stone unturned because we know that’s what it takes to build a Massachusetts that works for everyone. But now we have to boost our fundraising to keep up with the costs.
