This is a long email, but it’s very important that you read it all the way to the end. Thank you in advance.
Sarah has been on the road traveling all over Wisconsin, sitting down with workers and families, and learning more about the challenges they’re facing right now. Folks have shared the same concerns and frustrations in almost every conversation.
Too many families are stretching their pocketbooks just to be able to pay for groceries, fill their gas tanks, or refill their prescription drugs.
Parents are struggling to re-enter the workforce because it’s nearly impossible to find affordable childcare.
Communities can’t offer affordable housing because building costs are outrageously expensive.
Meanwhile, big corporations and the ultra-wealthy are getting away with price gouging and exploiting consumers — it’s outrageous, and we have a U.S. Senator who refuses to do anything about it.
Instead, Ron Johnson is fighting for his own massive tax cuts and keeping his big political donors happy so they can keep stuffing his campaign warchest. It’s time to replace him with someone who actually gives a damn about working families — and is willing to get out there and fight for them.
That’s why Sarah got in this race, and unlike Ron Johnson, she’ll never stop showing up, listening, and working as hard as possible to deliver results. That’s what she has done as State Treasurer, and it’s what she’ll do as Wisconsin’s next U.S. Senator.
So, as we travel across the state to meet with Wisconsin voters, we like to send you these emails to give you campaign updates, detail our latest policy plans, or ask you to chip in a few bucks to keep our work going. This email includes all three, but we’ll start with this one:
Would you consider making a small contribution to Sarah Godlewski’s U.S. Senate campaign? If we want to defeat Ron Johnson, we need to build an organization that can compete everywhere and talk to everyone. That’s what your grassroots donations allow us to do — so please, click here to pitch in what you can today.

Sarah recently released a comprehensive plan to help cut costs for working families and hold corporations accountable. We need commonsense solutions to lower the price tag on everyday needs — and here’s how Sarah believes we can do that:
- Expand access to affordable, quality childcare and make the expanded child tax credit permanent
- Cut the high cost of prescription drugs and crack down on corporate greed
- Provide immediate relief for soaring energy costs with a gas tax holiday and invest in renewable energy now to lower energy costs in the future
- Make housing more affordable, accessible, and sustainable
- Institute a wealth tax and make middle class tax cuts permanent
- Improve the supply chain and address food supply delays by making things here at home
When we’re dealing with the highest inflation rate in 40 years and working families are feeling the effects everywhere they go — whether it’s at the grocery store, the pharmacy counter, or the gas pump — our leaders in Washington shouldn’t just stand by and watch the folks back home stretching their pocketbooks even further.
Sarah’s latest plan puts working families first by cutting costs now and offering a straightforward approach to give folks a little breathing room in the future. That’s the kind of leadership we need from our next U.S. Senator.
Our campaign is creating an agenda for all Wisconsinites by meeting folks where they’re at across the state, particularly in places Democrats don’t always go, because that’s what people should expect from their leaders in Washington.
We’re going to continue rolling out policy plans based on the issues impacting our communities, and the conversations we’re having on the ground are critical to those efforts. Can you make a small contribution today to help us keep it going? With your help, we can return this Senate seat to the people of Wisconsin.

The bottom line is this: If we want to defeat Ron Johnson in November, we’ve got to show up, listen, earn trust, and follow through on our word to communities all over the state. That’s why Sarah’s out on the road right now meeting with Wisconsin voters and talking about her new plan to lower costs across the board. (Stay tuned for photos and stories!)
Your generous support directly funds our work to flip Wisconsin’s Senate seat from red to blue, and we can’t thank you enough for chipping in what you can when you can.
— Team Sarah
