Critical Quote

“Your family budget, your ability to fill up your tank, none of it should hinge on whether a dictator declares war and commits genocide a half a world away.”

iDeas Lab

Recent CSIS satellite imagery and analysis indicate that the roots of the recently announced modernization and expansion program at the Sohae Satellite Launching Station likely date back to 2019 and the collapse of the February Hanoi Summit between Kim Jong-un and then-President Donald Trump. The ambitious project could take one to three years.

Smiles

There are some tunes that stick with you for a lifetime. For many of them, when they come on the radio, they sound as fresh and timeless as ever. With Sirius/XM radio, this happens to me all the time. I’m sure the Sirius/XM digital sound has something to do with it as well. Yesterday, I heard Heart’s “Barracuda” and cranked it up. I kept thinking about how Ann and Nancy Wilson, who formed Heart in Seattle, engineered a sound on this track that is a precursor to '90s Grunge.
