Ron DeSantis has chosen to draw new Congressional maps behind closed doors, eliminating Black and Brown districts and erasing voices of color from the electoral process.

If Governor DeSantis wants to make a real difference in Floridians’ lives and tackle the insurance rate crisis or the housing crisis, I’ll see him in Tallahassee.
But, I’ll be damned if I’m showing up to kiss his ring and waste taxpayer money for an unconstitutional map that erases Black and Brown voices from the electoral process.
The Republican Senate President and Speaker of the House should be ashamed of themselves. If they lack the backbone to stand up to Ron DeSantis, let me assure you, John, I do not.
