This is urgent:
Republicans in the Kentucky General Assembly just overrode Governor Beshear’s veto of House Bill 3, effectively ending access to abortion care in our state.

Women have a constitutionally protected right to make their own health care decisions, including abortion. By effectively ending abortion access in Kentucky, this bill infringes on that right. It could even cost lives. But that doesn’t seem to matter to Republican zealots determined to take away the right to choose.

The fight to defend the long-standing precedent of Roe v. Wade and uphold the right to safe and legal abortion care is facing unprecedented attacks across the country right now.

I’ve fought for years to protect abortion access from the GOP’s constant attacks in Kentucky, and in Congress I’ll fight for federal protections that codify the right to choose into federal law once and for all.
