DSA is launching the national Green New Deal Priority Campaign this Thursday! RSVP to the launch call using THIS LINK.
This campaign is a full-scale mobilization of DSA chapters across the country to fight for and win power to pass labor-climate policies in state houses and city halls from coast to coast. Our GND Slate is a group of DSA-endorsed electoral candidates, and our campaign brings members around the country together so we can carry these fights out together.
The campaign is also part of our long-term project of developing the muscles for national coordination on big, scalable fights—the kind of fights we need to wage to defeat fossil capital and build the world that we need. Our campaign will politicize these races with a working-class vision for ecosocialist power, and develop and deploy leadership in chapters all over the country on two incredibly important tactics for building the independent strength of our organization: grassroots fundraising, and new member onboarding.
On the call, you'll hear from the GND Steering Committee, the slate of insurgent climate candidates, and a special guest to discuss how we build the road to socialist power. It’s build or burn. Let’s build this campaign together!
