Last week, Lizelle Herrera was arrested and charged with murder for self-managing her abortion in Texas. Even though she has been released and all charges have been dropped, we are RAGING.

We are so excited that our guest on the pod this week is Cathy Torres, the organizing manager of Frontera Fund, one of the organizations who lead the campaign that secured Lizelle’s release.

Cathy will break down just what happened, give us updates on the case, and explain how criminalizing abortion seekers is something we all need to be thinking about and how we can combat it.
