The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) oversees nearly 78% of the U.S. food supply including “dairy, produce, spices, nuts, cereals, flour, legumes, fruit [and] vegetable juices, vegetarian entrees” among other products. A recent poll from OnMessage Inc. found that 75% of respondents supported the statement that “[p]arents should be in charge of decisions regarding their children’s education” — including 86% of Republicans, 65% of Democrats, and 74% of independents.
