After crunching the numbers, it looks like fewer people are making grassroots contributions from emails like this one. But this isn’t completely unexpected. With Democrats in the majority, many people have tuned out of politics over the last year.

Here’s the problem: Senate Republicans are breaking fundraising records to flip the Senate, and we’re not where we need to be at this point in the month to hit our goals. That has all of us concerned, and for good reason.

If we lose just one seat this November, Mitch McConnell will be back in charge. He’ll focus all of his attention and energy on rebuilding his legislative “graveyard” — blocking any future progress we might be able to make, and New Mexico will lose out.

It was our grassroots power (from this very team!) that helped Ben Ray win this race and flip the Senate in 2020, and we need to prove that it wasn’t just a fluke.
