You may have heard about how Disney tried and failed to launch a smear campaign against a piece of legislation that I signed into law that protects 5-, 6-, and 7-year-olds from sexualized lesson plans in school.

Disney is continuing to lie about the bill, and their executives are continuing to smear me for defending the rights of parents and students.

No one should be surprised. This once family friendly entertainment company that used to make dreams come true for generations of Americans is now little more than a woke corporation fighting to inject radical sexual orientation and gender identity theory into our children’s classrooms.

The company that gave us Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck has not only decided that this inappropriate content should be injected into kindergarten through third-grade classrooms, but they also think it should be streamlined into kids’ movies and television shows.

I have news for the California executives at Woke Disney: Florida parents will not stand idly by – and neither will I.

As long as I’m governor, I will always fight for Florida families and our kids. I will never cave to the demands of a corporation that tries to inject sexualized lesson plans into Florida classrooms.

Woke corporations do not run the state of Florida and they never will.
