Friend:
Despite the obstacles stacked against us by Democrat and Republican
lawmakers in the state assembly, the NC Green Party and the Matthew
Hoh for Senate campaign have made incredible progress in our ballot
access drive, collecting thousands of signatures from registered
voters throughout the state.
We need your help in these last 5 weeks of our
petitioning drive. Please take these immediate steps to
help:
-
Join our Slack workspace for petitioners. Slack is an
online chat and organizing tool. Joining us in Slack is the best way
for you to connect with other petitioners, to learn the ropes, and to
find out about big petitioning events. Click
to join our Slack team.
-
Sign up to petition outside voting precincts on Early Voting
Days and Primary Day at our Volunteer Page (make sure you
click the first checkbox). Click
to volunteer to petition during primary voting days. Please plan
ahead to petition outside voting precincts. Early Voting is April
28–May 14, and Primary Day is May 17. If just 20 of our supporters can
commit to petitioning on some of these days and collect 100 signatures
each, we will certainly get on the ballot. Call or email NCGP
secretary Michael Trudeau to learn more about petitioning during these
voting days: 314-337-2154; [email protected].
-
Register for out Petitioners' Meetup TONIGHT at 8:00 p.m.
Eastern on Zoom. We're holding these meetings every Wednesday
evening to train petitioners. Please join us to learn how to petition
and to meet other Greens and supporters across the state. Click
to register for tonight's Zoom meetup.
The state of North Carolina needs a party independent of the two
corporate parties: the NC Green Party is the only left-wing party in
the state independent of the two corporate parties that is seeking
ballot access and runs municipal, statewide, and federal candidates.
Please do what you can to help, even if it means collecting just a
handful of signatures.
Do you have signatures to send in? Please mail them to our PO box
now, or call NCGP secretary Michael Trudeau at 314-337-2154 to hand
them off to a coordinator near you. Our PO box address:
NCGP Petition Drive PO Box 6022 Cary, NC 27519
Please make sure you get your signatures to us by May
14. But the sooner the better, because the NCGP is submitting
signatures to the county boards of election now.
Thanks so much for all your support!
Solidarity,
Michael Trudeau NCGP Secretary [email protected] 314-337-2154
