Shortly after announcing a $43 million fundraising haul last quarter, the NRSC announced their partnership with the Republican National Committee to put organizers on the ground now, in Colorado, talking to key voters. They’re empowered by a recent poll that shows Michael down 1% to a GOP opponent and the fact that our race was ranked in the top 10 most likely to flip. They’re only putting people on the ground in 9 states, and Colorado is one they see as key to taking back the Senate.
The stakes are higher than ever. Even though Michael has dedicated his work to improving the lives of working families in Colorado, lowering health care costs, and holding Big Oil accountable for rising gas prices, he’s a top target as the National GOP fights to flip the Senate.
They only need to flip one seat to return the Senate to a legislative graveyard, and right now we need to raise $24,690 before our mid-month deadline.
